Their own wordsCheryl Davies is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated in 1994 from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to that Cheryl obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph in 1991. Cheryl has varied experience in Orthopaedics working in the Hospital and Private clinic settings with workplace injuries, sports injuries and motor vehicle accidents. Cheryl has extensive post graduate training on the treatment of muscle, joint, ligaments and nerve injuries. Cheryl is credentialed in the McKenzie system for assessment and treatment of neck and back injuries. A lifelong learner, Cheryl has completed various post graduate orthopaedic and manual therapy courses and examinations. Some of the Orthopedic and manual therapy courses Cheryl has taken include completion of the Orthopaedic divisions Level 1 through 5 Orthopedic manual therapy courses as well as world renowned Wendy Aspinall's Peripheral and Spinal Orthopedic Courses. She has also taken various taping, neurodynamic, acupuncture, and Mulligan courses. Cheryl is a co-owner of Brooklin Village Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. Cheryl has a special interest in treating TMJ or temporal mandibular joint (jaw) problems. She is also very interested in treating and educating women after having children on how to restore their core including pelvic floor (Postpartum Health for Mom's). Cheryl's hobbies include: yoga, mountain biking, skiing, kayaking and hiking with her family. She is also interested in becoming a better golfer and has taken Fit Fore Golf courses that give her more insight into treating clients with golf injuries.
