1st appointment consultNew patient
“Your first appointment will include a complimentary 15 minute extension from the start time. This extra time accounts for the intake paperwork, assessment, discussion of your body, and lastly, establishing your treatment plan & goals.
We want to ensure you get the most out of your treatment. By taking this time initially, it allows us to gain a better understanding of the best course of treatment to take with you!
Please plan for an additional 15 minutes; for example, if your appointment starts at 2 pm for 60 minutes, it will end at 3:15.”Meditation or Guided Visualization
treatment
“This is a great all around go-to time length for a treatment! Whether this is your first or 100th massage, 60 minutes is an adequate amount of time for a full body relaxation or focusing where you need it most -back or legs & hips or neck & scalp- helping to balance your body & mind.
You know your body best and we'll discuss what your needs are before each treatment.”3 optionsmassage
“This length of treatment is meant for someone who has already received massage therapy with this therapist before, and has a very specific area that is in need of a dialed in and focused treatment.
Due to the extreme time constraint with this treatment, a full body massage is not possible.
* You MUST already be a client to receive this service. *”Aromatherapy
“Aromatherapy uses essentials oils in a therapeutic way either by inhaling the aroma of one or more oils or put directly onto the skin in a diluted form with a carrier oil.
You will always be asked for your consent before using essential oils on you skin. Please let me know if you have any allergies to scents or have any sort of skin sensitivities.”CuppingFollow-up
Deep tissue
“A deep tissue massage is a style of massage that really works into those stubborn knots and areas that cause you the most discomfort. We will start off warming up the more superficial layers of muscle and connective tissue, getting progressively deeper and using more pressure throughout the treatment if the body allows.
This style can incorporate but is not limited to repetition of slow deep glides, trigger point therapy, and cross fibre frictions to achieve softening of the tissue and decreased in over all pain.
We will maintain open communication throughout this treatment to ensure the pressure is manageable for you and that you feel comfortable with the work being done. One possible side effect of deep tissue massage is temporary post massage soreness that may last for 24-48 hours.”General Relaxation
“There is no doubt that day to day life in our modern world keeps both our bodies and minds busy, leaving us with limited time for ourselves. A general relaxation massage is the perfect alchemy for self care where all you have to do is show up and let us take care of the rest!
This is a wholesome, full body treatment, allowing you to focus on your breath and let the stress in your mind temporarily melt away. By simply laying on the massage table, you are practising the art of receiving and letting go, giving you more flow.”Pre-Natal Massage
Sport Massage
“A sport massage is designed to give your body a workout while addressing areas of the body that are generally affected from overuse. Whether your overuse comes from common movements associated with sports and activity or small yet repetitive tasks from work or hobbies we've got you covered!
This style of massage is more dynamic, usually incorporating multiple advanced techniques such as deep tissue, active release, P.N.F assisted stretching, N.M.T or cupping. There are considerations from the therapist of what techniques will be used depending on what and where the dysfunctions are occurring in your body and how your body responds to treatment.”Reiki
“Reiki is a Japanese energy technique where an emphasis is placed on the body's natural ability to heal its self. The client remains fully clothed for the session while they lay on the table, the practitioner gently places their hands in various positions on the body and head, tuning into the different subtle energy centres or fields within or outside of the body.
The goal of a Reiki session is to help bring balance and flow of our "ki" or energy in the body, leaving you feeling centred in body, mind and spirit.
Assistance of smudging or crystals may be used -with your consent- to enhance the outcome of your Reiki session.”Openings checked 30 min ago
