***At this time I am no longer accepting new patients as I prepare for maternity leave.*** ***I will be working reduced hours until August 15th. If you are in need of treatment and cannot find availability, please email me at cdreverpt@gmail.com .*** ***I am happy to make appropriate referrals and of course recommend my colleagues at Peak or SQB during this time. As of September, I have a wonderful locum, Andrea Burley, who will be covering me on Wednesdays at Peak and cannot recommend her enough. I plan to return early 2027.*** ***Thank you for understanding and trusting me with your care. Be well!*** ***Cheers, Christy*** Christy graduated from the University of Alberta in 2014 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Physical Education and Recreation (Honours) in 2011. Since graduating, Christy has worked with a large spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions having worked in both the private and public health sector. She has also worked with athletes of all levels from the recreational enthusiast to professional level athletes in various individual and team sports. Christy is certified in Biomedical Dry Needling and Gunn IMS. She has completed further training through the Orthopedic Division and is a Certified Manual Therapist through the Swodeam Institute. Christy is also a GLA:D Canada certified instructor and offers delivery of an active approach for those with hip and knee osteoarthritis. She has also completed further training in functional movement patterns in sport for shoulder and knee rehabilitation. She is looking forward to upcoming courses in further assessment and treatment of running related injuries and bike fitting. Christy’s philosophy for treatment is that each approach should be patient specific: Understanding the biomechanical nature of each body guides the treatment to assist each individual in achieving their own personal goals. On a personal note, Christy is an endurance fanatic: She ran Varsity Cross-Country, has completed several marathons, long course ½-Full Ironman Triathlon and has been to the XTERRA Off-Road Triathlon World Championships several times. She has also raced at a professional level in XTERRA and Off-Road triathlon. Just as excited by winter, she loves snowboarding and touring in the off-season. The Sea to Sky has been a perfect playground for her whether it be for training or simply enjoying the beauty it has to offer with friends.

*Prior to the visit, it is recommended that you do not take any medication to reduce dizziness and vertigo (e.g Gravol, Serc or other), so we can assess the source of dizziness accurately. *If you are having a hard time driving due to dizziness, it is recommended that you get a ride to and from the clinic. *It is possible that you may feel a bit off balance and dizzy after the first treatment that it is recommended that you take it easy for the rest of the day.
