**Colette Hopkins (M.Sc., M.A., B.Sc., B.A.)** is an Apprentice in Mental Performance Consulting (Apprentice Member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association). She recently graduated with a Master of Science in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States and is pursuing certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC®). Colette has been involved in sport for several decades, as an athlete (provincial-level youth figure skater and adult age-group triathlete), coach, volunteer, and as a mom of two multisport youth athletes. Throughout all aspects of her athletic involvement, she has been keenly interested in the power of the mind in sport and performance. Colette is deeply passionate about mental performance and its ability to help individuals close the gap between their current level of performance and their highest potential. Using a client-led approach, she collaborates with athletes and coaches, supporting their pursuit of excellence and overall wellbeing. Colette especially enjoys working with youth athletes, introducing them to valuable mental performance skills that support their journey in sport. Learning and practicing these skills at a younger age provides these athletes with a repertoire of strategies to help them excel in both sport and life. Outside the clinic, Colette enjoys hiking on local trails, strength training, watching live sports, and traveling with her family.
