Hello! My name is Colleen and I am a Registered Massage Therapist living and working in beautiful Vancouver, BC. I attended the 3200 hour program at Langara College and have been practicing since December of 2021.
My passion for connecting with and helping the community led me to pursue a career in massage therapy. I have worked with an array of individuals experiencing chronic pain, injuries, pregnancies, fatigue and stress among other ailments.
I am passionate about providing thorough informed consent care to my patients. I want you to feel like you are part of the treatment and feel listened to, cared for and empowered. My treatments are a collaboration to achieve your health related goals. During our treatment I will take the time to learn about your health history, beliefs, habits and hobbies and how I can be helpful to keep you moving and meet your goals! My treatment style utilizes a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial work, joint mobilizations and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) Through patient education and homecare I will aid you in achieving and maintaining your lifestyle.
Outside of treating patients at Wild Juniper I also am a clinical instructor at Langara. In my down time you will find me doing yoga, strength training and enjoying quality time with my family which includes two black cats. I will absolutely travel for delicious vegan food and ice cream.
At this time Colleen does not offer treatments to patients with open ICBC I or WorkSafe BC injury claims.
