For over 15+ years I’ve worked to help people achieve their goals of health and happiness and would love to connect with you also to help you achieve your goals and find some peace. I strongly believe in practicing from the values that I see create healing in my clients. These include truly looking at what matters in people’s lives; understanding that all people want to be happy and at peace deep down; that no-one gets through this life unscathed and hurt occurs in many different ways; and understanding that people respond to these injuries as best they can but often these ways become cemented later in life, hurting them again.
I, like all of us, strive to find happiness and health in my life as best I can. For me this means a balance of work, time with family, pursuing my interests, and growing as a person.
My passions are time spent with my family, being outdoors, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, playing sports, time with friends, walks, and going to movies when I can. While my office is located in Calgary, I live in Cochrane and am the proud father of two wonderful children. I strive to grow and learn continuously in my work, as I believe it makes me a better person, partner, and father.
This is one of the reasons I am so passionate about couples and individual growth.
I am particularly experienced with mental health concerns (including depression and anxiety), family of origin issues, and self-growth. I am passionate about couples counselling and trauma and have extensive training in these areas as well. Most of my work has occurred in the Calgary area of Alberta but I have also worked in Cochrane, Canmore, Athabasca and Ponoka, Alberta in various counselling and psychological roles over the years. I pride myself on having a well-rounded and in-depth skill set that allows me to understand, guide and support my clientele.

This is the initial appointment as part of the Full Autism Assessment. This appointment can be booked through administration or staff after a consultation. This clinical interview session will explore early childhood development (communication, play, friendships, sensory experiences), school experiences, social communication patterns, repetitive behaviors or focused interests, sensory sensitivities and current functioning in work, relationships, and daily life. A deposit of $235.00 is required to reserve an initial assessment appointment. Clients must provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule assessment appointments. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours’ will result in loss of 50% of deposit, while missed or cancelled appointments with less than 1-hours’ notice or no notice at all, including for those cancelling the initial assessment at the time of the appointment, will result in the loss of the entire deposit.
