The menopause visit is a crucial step for women experiencing hormonal changes. During this visit, Joelynne our womens health Np will assess symptoms, medical history, and discuss up to date evidence based guidelines fora personalized treatment plan that includes both preventative therapies and treatment of current symptoms. Medications may or may not be initiated at the initial visit and or adjusted at consecutive visits depending on the patients response to treatment. Joelynne may also conduct hormone testing to understand the body's transition and guide the treatment plan if appropriate. The visit is designed to be informative, supportive, and evidence-based, ensuring that women receive the care they need during this phase of life. Joelynne is registered and trained by the SOGC, AUGS, and both Canada and American Menopause societies.

In-clinic visit with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This appointment is intended for screening and/or treatment recommended by Nurse Practitioner as per orders received.

The pelvic examination for GSM involves a thorough assessment of the vulvar and vaginal areas to identify any abnormalities or conditions that may be contributing to the symptoms. During the examination, Joelynne may also complete a PAP during this visit if the patient is due for routine screening. This examination is crucial for diagnosing GSM and other related conditions, as it helps to rule out other potential causes of symptoms such as pelvic pain, abnormal vaginal bleeding, or vulvovaginal symptoms. The examination may also include tests for specific conditions like urinary tract infections, vaginal bacterial infections or yeast, depending on the patient's symptoms

A postnatal care appointment is recommended to be booked 4 - 6 weeks after delivery. This appointment is for maternal follow up only. Please book a separate well baby examination if you would like baby to also be seen.

STI screening requires an in-clinic visit with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Follow-up for STI treatment requires a booked appointment with one of our Nurse Practitioners. This appointment is intended for screening only.

This appointment is appropriate for: Insomnia, Constipation, Wart Treatment, Sore Throats, Ear Infections, Ear Flushing, Bladder Infections & Rashes or to follow up on the previously discussed health concerns, results from any previous blood work and investigations ordered from your annual appointment will also be reviewed.
