My practice is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves care that reflects who they are, where they come from, and what they have carried. This commitment is especially evident in my work with immigrant families, where identity, transition, and belonging are often layered and complex. Drawing on both professional and lived experience, I understand how these realities can shape mental health and wellbeing, and I strive to create spaces where clients feel fully understood within the context of their story.

I approach my work through a culturally responsive lens, recognizing that healing does not occur in isolation from identity, culture, and lived experience. Representation matters; when people can see themselves reflected in the care they receive, it strengthens trust, understanding, and belonging. My experience working alongside Indigenous individuals and communities has deepened my awareness of the impacts of history, the presence of resilience, and the importance of culturally grounded approaches to wellness. These experiences continue to shape how I show up in my work—with humility, respect, and an ongoing commitment to learning.
Creating psychologically safe spaces is central to my practice. I work to foster environments where people feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment and where vulnerability is met with compassion, and clients can explore their experiences with openness and honesty.
My areas of focus include supporting individuals navigating substance use and related addictions, including process addictions. I recognize these concerns are often complex and deeply rooted, and I provide steady, compassionate support grounded in patience, collaboration, and a commitment to sustainable change.
I am also committed to strengthening connection, supporting clients in reconnecting with themselves, enhancing family relationships, and helping immigrants navigate identity, belonging, and transition. I understand the unique pressures that can accompany these experiences and aim to cultivate conditions where healing and connection can develop in meaningful, lasting ways.
At the heart of my work is a simple, enduring belief: people thrive when they feel understood, authentically represented, and safe.
