About Dilan
I’m an art therapist and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) who works with children, youth, and adults in a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic space.
I graduated from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute and have a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Guidance & Psychological Counselling.
Art therapy offers a gentle, creative way to explore your inner world and support your emotional wellbeing. Through activities like drawing, painting, or working with images, you can express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. This process can help build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a deeper understanding of yourself.
In my practice, I combine art therapy with talk therapy, giving you both creative and conversational ways to explore your experiences, challenges, and strengths. You don’t need to be “artistic” to participate in art therapy, and making art is always optional - it’s simply one of many tools we can use to help you reflect, express yourself, and make sense of what you’re feeling.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and major life transitions.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and mindfulness-based, and I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you can move at your own pace.
I offer in-person and online sessions in English and Turkish.
