(No Couples) Specialities: Neurodevelopmental Disorders - AD/HD, Specific Learning Disorders, Intellectual Developmental Disorders, Anxiety, Depressive, and Trauma-and-Stressor-Related Disorders I have been working in Calgary as a Registered Psychologist for 20+ years in various non-profit, public, and/or private sectors. For the past 13 years, I have worked primarily with school-aged children and adolescents (Calgary Board of Education) presenting with diverse and complex learning and social/emotional needs, providing formal diagnostic assessment of neurodevelopmental and other mental health disorders and school-based mental health counselling. My role has also included formal psychological consultation for parents and school personnel and supervision for graduate students in psychological assessment and intervention. My passion for assessment was cultivated during my graduate training experiences at the University of Calgary and University of Alberta, where I received my MSc and PhD in School Psychology. Throughout my many years of schooling, I received additional training in neuropsychological assessment and individual counselling to further enhance my clinical skills. My clinical knowledge, expertise, and skillset, together with my compassion and empathy for others and ability to make genuine connections with my clients, has enabled me to support individuals in their journey of self- understanding/self-discovery and help them to reach their full potential and emotional wellbeing. I pride myself in providing comprehensive assessment services, which includes gathering a thorough history of an individual’s unique circumstances, consolidating information from a variety of sources, utilizing state of the art assessment tools, and providing a clear understanding of strengths, challenges, and useful recommendations to support areas of need, all while ensuring a positive experience for my clients. I continue to strive to achieve a balance between my professional and personal lives and believe strongly in fostering my own journey of growth and self-discovery. I have been happily married to my husband for 22 years, and we are proud parents to our three young adult children, who continue to foster our energy and enthusiasm in life.
