Their own wordsDr. Deanna Nickle was raised in Oshawa, Ontario, where she developed a lifelong passion for health, movement, and athletics. Growing up, she competed in hockey, soccer, ringette, and lacrosse, and her own experiences with sports-related injuries inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare and rehabilitation.
Dr. Nickle earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where she also played varsity lacrosse. She then completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating in 2021.
As a mother of two young boys, Dr. Nickle has a special interest in pediatric and family-focused care. Through both her clinical training and personal experience, she has developed a deep appreciation for the importance of early intervention and supportive care throughout infancy and childhood. She works with families experiencing challenges such as traumatic births, feeding difficulties, decreased neck mobility, and developmental milestone concerns, helping children thrive through evidence-informed chiropractic care.
Dr. Nickle is also passionate about supporting women throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. She enjoys leading postpartum rehabilitation classes and women's strength training programs, empowering women to rebuild confidence, restore function, and return to the activities they love. Her approach focuses on education, movement, and individualized care to help women feel strong and supported at every stage of life.
Dr. Nickle provides evidence-based, patient-centered care tailored to each individual's goals. Her treatment approach incorporates chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release techniques, rehabilitation exercises, acupuncture and education to help patients move better, recover effectively, and achieve lasting results.
When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Nickle enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and continuing to expand her knowledge in pediatric, women's health, and rehabilitative care
