Jenn spent 12 years pursuing her education while raising her two daughters and gaining valuable experience working in multiple research laboratories. Her journey began at Fanshawe College in 2006, continued at Western University in 2010, and culminated with her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, which she completed from 2014–2018.
Having recently relocated to Vancouver Island to be closer to her daughters, who now call British Columbia home, Jenn continues to provide naturopathic care with the same passion and dedication that have guided her throughout her career.
Jenn believes that effective medicine combines the best available research evidence with clinical expertise and, most importantly, the individual values and needs of each patient. Her approach to naturopathic medicine is holistic and focused on understanding and addressing the underlying factors contributing to illness rather than simply managing symptoms.
She has a special interest in pain management, recognizing how profoundly chronic pain can affect quality of life, as well as digestive health, an area she believes plays an important role in overall health and the development of many disease processes. Jenn is also a strong advocate for women’s health and has dedicated significant time to developing a deeper understanding of the conditions and health concerns that affect women throughout their lives.
Jenn takes her “Doctor as Teacher” oath seriously. She believes that patients are empowered when they understand what is happening in their bodies and why a particular treatment may help. She takes the time to explain the underlying mechanisms of illness and how treatment can help shift the body toward a healthier state.
Beyond her clinical practice, Jenn enjoys teaching through workshops, herb walks, and educational talks designed to engage people in natural approaches to health and healing.
