AjouterDr. Kurta is the founder and clinical director of Sherwood Psychology.
She offers Psychoeducational (e.g., dyslexia, learning disability), ADHD, Autism, Gifted and Psychological Assessments (e.g., anxiety, depression, OCD) for children and youth aged 6-19 years old.
Dr. Kurta also directly supervises many on our team of Registered Psychotherapists and Psychometrists, meeting with each regularly so that you receive the best possible care.

We offer assessments for children, teens, and young adults (ages 6–25), including ADHD, autism, and learning assessments. If you’re unsure what type of assessment may be the best fit or where to start, this is a great place to begin. In this 15-minute call, you’ll speak with our Practice Coordinator, who can: • briefly talk through your concerns • help clarify the type of assessment • guide you on next steps • answer questions about the process and booking No preparation is needed—just come as you are. This is a simple, low-pressure way to get started.
***PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE THERAPIST'S BIO REGARDING THE AGE OF CLIENTS AND CONCERNS THEY WORK WITH BEFORE BOOKING*** 15-minute video consultation for new clients. *If you are booking a consultation for potential services for your child who is under the age of 12, only parents attend the consult.* Please note that 15 minute consultations are for therapy inquiries only.
