Dr. Kristen Bovee is a naturopathic physician who has served on Vancouver Island for 20 years. She holds professional certifications in, intravenous and chelation therapies, prolotherapy and ozone. Kristen is a member of the BCNA and CNPBC and can prescribe most medications that are pharmaceutically regulated. Dr. Kristen has special interests in treating women’s hormone imbalances, osteoarthritis/pain syndromes, and food allergies. She also has great interest and talent in medical esthetics which she uses as an adjunct to supporting a healthy aging process with naturopathic techniques and treatments.

This appointment is for current patients who have been instructed to attend the clinic to obtain a sample for lab testing. Note*** this fee is not the cost of the lab test itself, rather the clinic's fee to obtain your sample, process it and send it to the appropriate laboratory for testing. Our ND will spend 15 minutes explaining the benefits of naturopathic medicine and naturopathic care. They will be able to answer most questions on what ND's do and what their education entails.

First visit with a Naturopathic Physician. Please book for complex cases, iron infusions or other advanced IV services. This visit is for receiving comprehensive naturopathic medical care and assessment for those needing functional medical testing.
This visit is for an online consultation with an ND prior to any IV or IM injection treatment plan. This visit can be completed anytime before scheduling a prescribed IV or IM treatment. The initial virtual visit cost does not include the IV or IM treatment, as this will be billed separately at the appointment for the treatment.

This is a video/online or phone initial consultation with a Naturopathic Physician. A valid credit card on file will be required for any virtual appointment bookings. This visit includes a thorough review of health concerns, review of any previous testing or blood work, supplement and medication review. This visit will help to establish further testing needed for ongoing care and developing an initial individualized treatment protocol.
This includes a screening intake (20-30 min) with a naturopathic doctor and a prescribed IV infusion. This visit is required for anyone interested in wellness IV therapy but has not attended Hydrate Clinic. Please expect to be at the clinic for 2 hours. ***For iron infusions, ozone, chelation therapy and high dose vitamin C, please book a First Visit Naturopathic Medicine appointment. We cannot provide treatments for these advanced IV’s without a full Naturopathic intake.***
For patients who have an MD referral to Dr.McKenzie for chronic conditions including chronic fatigue, IBS, long covid or other chronic viral/infectious conditions.
