Education & Training Dr. Marina Fodor earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she focused on providing care to underserved communities throughout her training. During this time, she engaged with students and local residents, offering accessible assessment and psychotherapy services. Additionally, she led a therapy group aiding pregnant and postpartum patients in substance use recovery and provided smoking cessation counselling for people living with HIV/AIDS. Dr. Fodor completed her pre-doctoral residency and post-doctoral fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, where she gained extensive clinical experience across diverse specialized settings. Her roles included treating people with concurrent disorders in Concurrent Outpatient Medical & Psychosocial Addiction Support Services, supporting 2SLGBTQ+ individuals recovering from trauma and addiction in Rainbow Services, and conducting personality assessments and dialectical behavioural therapy for those navigating mood/anxiety disorders alongside trauma-related or personality disorders in the Integrated Day Treatment Service.
