Their own wordsDr. Maureen Henderson graduated from the University of Guelph in Sociology/Psychology in 1971 and then the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1975. She has completed a Rehabilitation Specialty in addition to numerous courses in Nutrition, Weight Management and Lifestyle Modification.
She began her practice in Etobicoke with her husband, Dr. Donald Henderson. Within a few months, she opened a satellite office where she worked 3 days per week for 38 years. Her focus has been on family practice, which resonates in the clinic.
During her years in practice, scientific advancements in treatment protocols have been used to get the most beneficial results for patients. In addition to spinal manipulative therapy Dr. Maureen uses medical laser therapy and rock taping for many treatments, including arthritic joints, pre-and post-surgical recovery, athletic injuries and sprains and strains.
An avid proponent of maintaining mobility and a healthy lifestyle, she coaches dieters in the Ideal Protein Protocol and exercise to optimize their health and function, regardless of their age.
Dr. Maureen has no thoughts of retirement as she continues to work with patients and dieters to help them achieve their optimum level of health and to “Be Your Best You”.
