Dr. Paula Woodward, R.TCM.PVérifié auprès du registre public — College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, le 8 août 2026
I graduated from a five-year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program in 2005. My training was comprehensive and hands-on, covering Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Chinese Diet Therapy, Cupping, and Tui Na. I completed my final year in a teaching hospital in China, which offered valuable clinical exposure and experience.
In the years since graduating, it has really been continued study and clinical practice that have shaped how I work today. I’ve completed over 1,000 hours of advanced training in Chinese herbal medicine, pulse diagnosis, women’s health, fertility, allergy elimination, pain management, and treating complex, often unexplainable illnesses, among other areas. Each layer of study has deepened my understanding of how patterns unfold in the body — and how important it is to treat the whole person, not just symptoms.

Over the years, I’ve supported people through digestive concerns, hormonal and menstrual challenges, chronic pain, fatigue, insomnia, and more complex, lingering conditions. While the presenting issues differ, the approach remains consistent: step back, look at the bigger picture, and work with the underlying pattern that connects the symptoms.
