This is a custom made insert fitted into a shoe. Orthotics provide support for the foot by redistributing ground reaction forces as well as realigning foot joints while standing, walking or running. They are used by everyone from athletes to the elderly to reduce or eliminate biomechanical deformities and a variety of soft tissue inflammatory conditions such as plantar fasciitis. During this visit, your chiropractor will assess your gate and foot joints alignment. After assessment, your foot samples will be taken and sent for custom production of the inserts. The orthotics are usually ready within 2 weeks. Please check with your extended health benefits plan to see what is required before your assessment.

The telephone consultation fee has been established to support cooperation between health care providers and ICBC, or between treating health care providers where direct conversation is necessary to address functional limitations or recovery barriers. The clinic has a 48 hour cancellation policy, which is stated in the multi intake form each client signs. If a client fails to show for a treatment or cancels after the 48 hours, the therapists/clinic has the right to charge for the missed appointment.
