Your first appointment is an unhurried introduction to acupuncture. We’ll review your health history, discuss your current concerns, and provide a diagnosis according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. This treatment is designed for patients 36 weeks and onward and includes a comprehensive intake and review of your health history. Offered weekly from full term (36–37 weeks+) to support physical and mental preparation for labour, these sessions can help promote optimal fetal positioning and encourage the natural onset of labour. Treatments are specifically focused on safely stimulating labour when appropriate. Acupuncture can be used as a natural alternative to support the birthing process and may help reduce the need for medical interventions. Treatment length is up to 75 minutes.
