He earned his Doctor of Optometry with distinction from Pacific University, one of North America’s leading institutions for vision therapy and rehabilitation. During his final year, he completed clinical rotations at several of the most advanced neuro-visual clinics across the United States, developing a strong foundation in functional vision care.
Dr. Irvine specializes in treating visual issues related to concussion, dizziness, and reading or learning challenges. Known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach, he combines the latest evidence-based techniques with personalized care to support recovery and performance at every level.
Originally from Calgary, Dr. Irvine was drawn to Vancouver Island for its natural beauty and quality of life. He now works with patients in both the Victoria and Nanaimo clinics, helping individuals of all ages rebuild function and rediscover clarity through vision.
