About Shawn
Their own wordsDr. Shawn Henderson is a second-generation chiropractor having been raised understanding the importance of spinal health and function. Upon completion of a BSc at the University of Toronto he completed the 4-year program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and joined his parents in their Etobicoke Chiropractic Practice. Following completion of training at CMCC, Dr. Shawn completed 2 post-graduate fellowships in the fields of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
Born and raised in Etobicoke it has been his privilege to provide acupuncture and chiropractic treatment to patients since 1998. In addition to leading a healthy lifestyle and balance between nutrition, exercise and stretching, Dr. Shawn enjoys continuing to try to learn how to play guitar and spending time with family. He is instilling the same message of the importance of health in his young daughter Kaitlyn who inspires him to appreciate every day!
He is passionate and caring in his approach to provide the best possible treatment to his patents.

“My first chiropractic visit with Dr. Shawn Henderson was in March. Shawn came highly recommended and I needed someone to help me with ongoing neck and shoulder pains. After that visit Shawn explained the problem was with my levator scapulae muscle. Shawn worked his magic, gave me exercises to do, and recommended I change my desk configuration and my muscle issues have been steadily improving. At first I had to see him 2-3 times a week now it's just once a month to ensure everything is as it should be. The clinic is clean (no outside shoes allowed past the vestibule, so wear socks), gentle soothing music is playing while you wait. Everyone is friendly, including the giant skeleton in the waiting area who gets dressed up for different occasions! I highly recommend Shawn and Kingsway Health.”Read moreShow less

“When my back “went out” on me and I could barely walk, I knew exactly where I had to go. With 2 young kids, I do not have time to be out of commission! Dr. Shawn and the team at Kingsway Health got me stable and back on my feet again. Dr. Shawn answered all my questions, took time to thoroughly explain things and to make sure I understood the best way to prevent this in the future. I was amazed how convenient it was to book all those appointments; they were always flexible and accommodating to my family’s busy schedule.
