Dr. Shruti Sharma is a Chiropractor and Neurofunctional Acupuncture Provider who wants to help you hurt less, move better, and live well. The use of various techniques provides a thorough assessment, customized treatment plans, and results. Dr. Sharma is a Trained Provider of the Shift Concussion Management Program and will co-manage your case with other specialists to address visual, vestibular, emotional, or performance dysfunctions. Her background in Clinical Nutrition, Psychology, and Alternative and Complimentary Medicine is often incorporated into your care. Optimizing your body’s ability to target the dysfunctional areas to repair and recover includes addressing its ability to provide, build, and circulate the necessary nutrients. These nutritional and physiological elements are crucial to your success and are further supported by addressing co-existing mental health or stress management concerns, as a body under stress will not function well. During the past decade, Dr. Sharma has evolved her practice style to be akin to concierge medicine with a patient-centered approach to address the immediate and future goals of her clients, be it pain reduction, improving movement patterns to avoid recurrent injuries, or enhancing physical performance. This detailed approach requires longer appointments than conventional Chiropractic care and the number of sessions required is dependent on your response to care. Regular re-assessments to monitor progress and to update your home care programs, referrals for x-rays, or guidance on how to follow up with other providers starts with your main concern and we continue from there. Treatment frequency begins with appointments closer together with the goal to quickly increase the time between visits, as your body adapts to improved movement and function.
