He completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Before beginning his journey into Chiropractic, Dr. Gomi worked as a certified personal trainer for a number of years. During this time, he was fortunate enough to work with clients from a wide range of ages and mobility levels, helping them optimize their strength, endurance, injury rehabilitation and specialized sport training. Yuki understands the importance of cultivating functional movement patterns and is excited to help his patients achieve their most optimal, healthy and injury free lifestyle. Dr. Gomi provides a diverse range of treatment modalities including spinal manipulation, joint mobilization, soft tissue treatments (trigger point therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue treatment, cupping and taping), as well as providing personalized exercise plans. When outside of the clinic, Yuki enjoys spending his time at the gym, the outdoors or spending time with his cat, Tobi.
