About Dylan

Dylan (she/her) works with adult clients 18+ and provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your unique experiences and identities. Dylan works collaboratively with you to navigate life’s challenges and move toward meaningful change. Dylan’s approach is client-centred, strengths-based, and integrates components of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and self-compassion. Dylan believes that our unique experiences and identities shape how we show up in the world and is passionate about supporting clients in their healing journeys. Dylan uses a trauma-informed, culture-infused, queer- and neurodivergent-affirming framework to individually tailor counselling to the needs of her clients. Dylan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Adler University. Dylan is a member of Immunity Canada, a non-profit organization that provides support for people living with primary immunodeficiency, and has years of experience working in secondary and post-secondary education settings. Dylan specializes in working with anxiety/perfectionism, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, stress management, chronic health issues, identity exploration, neurodivergent identity support (autistic/ADHD/AuDHD/giftedness), and intergenerational trauma. Outside of work, Dylan loves being in nature, spending time with her friends, and hiking with her extra-large dog named Stanley. Dylan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
