About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Perdok-Waboose is a dedicated mental health and addictions support professional with over 25 years of experience working alongside First Nation communities. A member of the Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg First Nation, Elizabeth brings a rich cultural perspective to her therapeutic practice. Her work is registered with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and includes specialized support for individuals and families impacted by Residential Schools. Elizabeth has collaborated widely across British Columbia and Canada, including with The Legacy of Hope Foundation on Pre-Truth and Reconciliation initiatives, as well as through participation in community gatherings. Her clinical focus centers on addiction, trauma, and intergenerational and historical complex trauma. She holds certifications in Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy (IFOT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Guided by Shirley Turcotte’s teachings on intergenerational traumatic knowledge, Elizabeth embraces a decolonized, wholistic approach that honors healing across past, present, and future contexts. Outside of her professional work, she values time with family, friends, and community, and enjoys walking, berry and medicine gathering, and mountain hiking.Read more about ElizabethShow less
