About Erin
Erin Routly is a graduate from VCMT (Vancouver College of Massage
Therapists, 2012) and the Canadian Acupressure College (2000). She has
been in practice for 18 years with a strong foundation in Shiatsu,
Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Pre/Postnatal Massage.
Erin creates a safe and supportive environment for her patients to help
bring them back to a healthy state of balance using a combination of
Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, neuromuscular, acupressure,
and Manual Lymph Drainage techniques.
She has had success treating many conditions for sports injuries, chronic
pain, digestive challenges, joint pain, sport-related injury, and acute or
chronic stress. It is her intention to create a treatment plan that helps meet
the needs of each individual. This is reinforced by providing home care
and resources that patients can use to maintain function and begin forming
new pathways of recovery and healing consciously.
She loves working with kids and youth to encourage them to have
peventative health knowledge at at early age so they can continue to have
fun and pursue their passions.
Continued education has been with the Vodder Method of Manual Lymph
Drainage which assists with many things such as headaches, concussion
symptoms, primary and secondary lymphedema, circulation disturbances,
sports injuries such as sprains/strains, and swelling from pre/post surgery.
Recent continued education also includes Visceral Manipulation.
Her spiritual path as a medicine carrier includes her Shamanic Studies
with her Curendero/ teacher, Jahimy Alverez-Acosta , Wisdom-keeper from
Peru South America. She is very passionate about their community and
non-for profit, Children of the 7 Rays Foundation. She has completed her
Shoden Jikiden Reki level for her own on going personal/professional
development.
When she is not in the clinic, she can be found enjoying our beautiful
outdoors that Mother Earth allows us to play and create in with friends,
family, and community on the West Coast of BC. A love for paddling,
biking, yoga, soft martial arts, dance and music, anything that encourages
her to move and feel alive and connected to nature!
