My common name is Eugene and I am registered with Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. As a sports teacher and competing sailor, I was always interested in how the human body works. After moving to Alberta, I was treated for my own low back problems and found that massage may benefit my athletes, and would help me to become a better coach.
While I was studying massage at Mount Royal University, my first client was my wife who suffered from endless hours at her desk. I found that I could help her not just by easing off muscle tension, but also by guiding her in how to stay healthy.
Better posture and changes to workplace ergonomics provide improvements that last much longer than any other treatment, especially if you can back them up with healthy physical activities or exercises.
