About Eva
Eva Li is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) offering in-person therapy in Surrey and virtual counselling throughout British Columbia. She holds a Master degree in Educational Psychology, from the top Canadian institute McGill University, and thus Brings in an extensive and diverse academic and clinical experience to the Good Vibes TCM Healing Centre.
Eva works with adults aged 19 and older, as well as couples, providing support in both English and Mandarin.
Many of Eva’s clients come to therapy feeling anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in longstanding patterns. Others are navigating trauma, complex family dynamics, immigration stress, relationship pain, or the weight of always being “the strong one.” Couples often seek support when they feel caught in recurring conflict, emotionally distant, or unsure how to rebuild trust and closeness after difficult experiences.
Eva’s approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. She integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs and pace. Sessions may explore emotional patterns, beliefs, nervous system responses, relationship dynamics, body awareness, and the protective strategies that have developed over time.
Eva believes therapy is not about fixing who someone is, but about helping people reconnect with themselves and their relationships with greater clarity, compassion, and steadiness. She creates a supportive space where clients can feel understood, respected, and safe to move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.
Eva welcomes adults and couples seeking support with anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, self-worth, boundaries, life transitions, immigration stress, and cross-cultural experiences.
