Garnett’s journey into physical therapy is one of passion, perseverance, and a love for helping others. Born and raised in small-town Saskatchewan, Garnett’s early career in the trades gave him a solid foundation in hard work, but it was his drive to make a real difference in people’s lives that led him to pursue his dream of rehabilitation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Saskatchewan, setting him on a path to become a trusted guide in the world of injury recovery and prevention.

Garnett has had the privilege of working in both private and public healthcare settings, gaining a broad range of experience that enables him to support people of all ages and abilities. He is now proud to call Canmore home, having made the leap from the prairies to the mountains to pursue his lifelong dream of living in an active, outdoor environment.

Garnett’s philosophy centers on a holistic approach to recovery, combining hands-on treatment with education and tailored exercise strategies to get you feeling your best. His personal experience in fitness ranges from competitive bodybuilding and CrossFit to Powerlifting. This drives his passion for injury prevention and recovery, especially when it comes to sport and lifestyle-related injuries. Whether you’re dealing with general aches and pains or looking to bounce back from something more serious, Garnett has the expertise and knowledge to guide you through the recovery process.
###Outside the Clinic
When he’s not in the clinic helping you recover and thrive, Garnett is probably out enjoying all that Canmore has to offer. He’s an avid hiker, snowboarder, and motorcyclist, and loves spending time outdoors with his dog. The natural beauty of the area fuels his passion for health and wellness, and he looks forward to serving the residents of Canmore and surrounding areas for many years to come.
