About Geoffrey
Geoffrey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University, and a Master of Science in Psychotherapy at McMaster University. Over the course of his training, he held positions at some of Ontario’s most reputable mental health facilities, including the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program (OSP) and the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic (ATRC) at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton—one of Canada’s leading centres for Evidence-based Anxiety treatment.
Geoffrey supports clients with challenges related to Low Self-Esteem, Perfectionism, and different forms of Anxiety. He has specialized training in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic, and Agoraphobia. He received his clinical instruction through the MSc Psychotherapy program at McMaster University and completed my training at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital—one of Canada’s leading centres for Evidence-based Anxiety treatment.
Geoffrey uses Evidence-based Psychotherapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Cognitive Processing Therapy, for more immediate concerns, such as debilitating symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, or PTSD. He also offers Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for those seeking an insight-oriented approach that involves meeting more consistently on a longer-term basis.
