Their own wordsGrace is a Registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She obtained her Master’s Degree in the field of Clinical and Forensic Psychology in 1986. She has many years of experience in the areas of rehabilitation, clinical psychology and working with first-responders. She is affiliated with several rehabilitation clinics as a senior clinician, providing therapy and counselling to patients with chronic pain problems, and a variety of psychological impairments related to motor vehicle accidents, work injuries or long-term disabilities. She is a certified Pain Disability Prevention Program provider.
She has been working with patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, somatic disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and phobias. She builds a very strong therapeutic relationship with her patients. She has been using a variety of psychological tools, including cognitive- behavioural therapy, mindfulness techniques, acceptance and commitment strategies, positive psychology, and others. In addition to therapeutic services, Grace has been providing psychological assessments of people involved in motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, slip and fall accidents and other mental health problems associated with health issues.
Grace loves spending time with her three grandchildren. She enjoys swimming, kayaking and outdoor activities. She has been a vivid reader.
