Gurj is a practicing Kinesiologist and Doctor of Physiotherapy graduate with a strong background in active rehabilitation and return-to-function care. He earned his Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching with a specialization in Kinesiology from Douglas College. With several years of experience in private practice, Gurj has supported individuals recovering from injury by delivering evidence-based active rehabilitation programs. He recently completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in Australia, further strengthening his clinical skills and approach to patient care. Gurj is passionate about helping patients optimize their function by focusing on their abilities rather than limitations. His treatment philosophy centers on empowering individuals to regain confidence, improve performance, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Outside the clinic, Gurj enjoys traveling, staying active in the gym, watching the latest movies, and attending Vancouver Canucks games. He has also played recreational basketball and ball hockey, and strongly believes that the skills developed through sport translate into valuable life skills.
