About Hannah
Growing up in Nova Scotia, Hannah started dancing at age 3 and continued performing until the end of high school. Hannah then completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with Distinction at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Here, Hannah was a part-time ballet teacher as well as being part of the Student Athletic Therapy program where she worked with a variety of sports teams, with a focus on the cross country teams. Through this program, she gained skills in injury prevention, taping, and return to sport. Following her time at St. Francis Xavier, Hannah completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Throughout this degree, she had a variety of clinical internships working with various populations, such as those with spinal cord injuries, amputations, athletic injuries, and oncological clients. This experience has given Hannah an appreciation for client-specific goal setting and personalized treatment. Hannah uses a combination of hands-on treatment, exercise, and education to help clients reach these goals. She works to help clients understand both the what and the why of their injury, pain, or function. In clinic, Hannah enjoys working with all demographics, with a special interest in working with dancers, those who are pregnant and postpartum, and individuals looking to return to activity or optimize their function. Hannah has completed several levels in the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program, and Pelvic Floor Certification. She looks forward to completing more continuing education to broaden and advance her skill set. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys strength training, golfing, exploring new Toronto neighbourhoods and coffee shops, and catching up with her family across the country.Read more about HannahShow less
