Haruka has a strong passion for exercise-based therapy and preventative care. About: Haruka's journey into physiotherapy was inspired by her lifelong involvement in sports and an appreciation for the connection between movement and overall well-being. Haruka spent eight years as an assistant karate instructor to youth. She achieved the rank of black belt and competed at a provincial level in both kata and kumite. With a background in teaching and a special education minor from the University of British Columbia, she has a deep ardor for working with children and youth. Why she became a PT: Haruka is passionate about the human body and enjoys working one-on-one with clients toward the shared goal of improving their health.
