Henna Hans
Henna is an associate counsellor at Cultivate, working towards becoming a registered psychologist. Henna attended the University of Lethbridge for her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology.
Henna uses a person-centred approach and meets her clients with empathy and respect by creating a safe, non-judgmental space. She understands that she has the privilege of working with and supporting you while you experience and navigate the journey of life.

Henna believes that each of us is unique and tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the needs of each client. She uses an integrated approach and practices from multiple modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy. Through processing, acceptance, humour, and mindfulness, Henna works together with clients to help them recognize their unique strengths and values and create the life they envision for themselves.
Henna offers counselling for a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, stress management, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship issues, and trauma. Henna is also committed to supporting individuals experiencing intergenerational trauma, cultural identity struggles, newcomer/immigrant mental health, and other unique challenges faced within BIPOC communities. As a second generation Canadian, Henna empathizes with the distinct challenges these communities face and honours the bravery it takes to explore therapy for yourself.
Henna practices from a trauma and culturally-informed lens. Henna works with children (12+) and adults, and offers services in English and Punjabi.
Henna is 2SLGBTQ+ affirming and available to residents in Alberta.

An education and counselling group for neurodivergent (ADHD & Autistic) young adults ages 18-24. This group runs on Wednesday evenings from September 10 to October 29. Registration is for all 8 sessions for a total price of $540.
