About Heta
I am a Registered Physiotherapist and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. With over 8+ years of experience in orthopedic, post-operative, neuro-musculoskeletal, and geriatric fields, I have special interest in rehabilitation after hip or knee replacements, back pain, tendinitis, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis management, pelvic health, and ergonomics.
As a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist, I consistently strive for optimal results in patient care. My additional training includes soft tissue release techniques, manual therapy, Taping and the Mulligan technique for pain reduction and improved range of motion. I have completed Pelvic Health levels 1, 2, 3, and pregnancy and pelvic pain certifications, with plans to pursue advanced certifications in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and Vestibular and Concussion rehabilitation in the near future.
My passion lies in empowering clients to regain control over their pain, injuries, and lives. I find joy in helping clients achieve their best selves. Outside of my professional life, I indulge my creative side through dancing, traveling, and engaging in origami. Above all, I cherish spending quality time with my family and friends, enjoying outdoor activities and an active lifestyle.
