About Hiba
Their own wordsHave you ever felt like no one truly understands what you're going through? The feeling where you wish you could talk to someone who listens deeply, without judgment—just with genuine curiosity and care? That’s the kind of space I strive to create in therapy, where you can feel truly heard and supported.
My educational experience of earning an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where I double majored in Psychology and Sociology, has made me passionate about understanding the complexities of human behavior. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience supporting children with special needs, which has deepened my commitment to working with neurodivergent individuals and young people facing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
My passion lies in helping individuals feel empowered and understood. I am especially interested in supporting neurodivergent individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, or emotional regulation challenges. I bring a strength-based, empathetic lens and evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while always keeping compassion and flexibility at the center of my work.
People often describe me as fun, loving, and easy to connect with—and I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship should feel safe, supportive, and even a little playful at times. As one of my favorite quotes says, “People start to heal the moment they feel heard.”
If you’re looking for someone to walk beside you with empathy and curiosity, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
