**Please note direct billing to all extended health care plans may not yet be available with Eric. Please ask our front desk team for more information. A receipt will be provided for reimbursment as applicable.** Eric graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy after receiving a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, concentrated in Active Health and Rehabilitation. His experience recovering from various orthopaedic injuries developed a passion for rehabilitation, helping him become a practitioner focused on helping clients through symptom relief, relaxation, and developing a positive mindset toward recovery. He also strives to provide the right exercises done outside the treatment to promote long-term change. Eric’s areas of interest are in, but not limited to, common conditions such as lower back injuries, joint pain, and muscle tightness that arise from poor posture that has become all too common in our society. He integrates a variety of techniques that include Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and neuromuscular techniques to provide personalized but effective treatments. He wishes to expand his knowledge through continuing education to treat a wider range of patients with a wider arsenal of skills. Outside of treating patients, Eric likes to improve his swimming skills, occasionally go on biking trails, play golf, and wishes to learn how to play the bass one day.
