Husna Safi
About Husna
Their own wordsBeing able to confront the things that have been bothering you takes courage and bravery. During the course of therapy, I will guide you through the process of exploring parts of yourself in order to gain insight and enable you to move beyond your limitations. I feel immensely humbled by the trust I am awarded each time a person shares their story, and so privileged to play a role in your path of self-discovery.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and client-centered. I use an integrative approach that combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of the individual client. I use a combination of evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavior, Dialectical, Mindfulness and Somatic therapy in collaboration with you.
I know it can be hard to make the call and ask someone for help. I offer a free consultation to give you a chance to see if we seem like a good fit.
I am a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
