###About Ian

As an avid recreational mountain biker and road cyclist for nearly two decades, Ian has always had a passion for two-wheeled, pedal-powered machines. After a string of mountain bike injuries, he opted for a less impactful form of cycling and purchased his first road bike (which included a proper fit) -- and fell in love. Fast forward almost 10 years since his first bike fit, and Ian started to notice some growing discomforts on his bike, especially during long four-hour rides – he felt that his riding position could be optimized. Utilizing his background in biomechanics, physiology, neurology and rehabilitation, Ian sought to take on this challenge himself.

With just a few adjustments to his bike, he was able to resolve his discomfort issue as well as increase power output and overall aerodynamics. It was at this moment that Ian realized the magnitude of positive performance and comfort that can be unlocked from small changes in riding position. These small changes in combination with adherence to regular strengthening and flexibility training, he has never felt stronger or more comfortable on a bike.

With the positive changes Ian was able to affect, he recognized this as an unique opportunity to leverage his background and expertise in biomechanics, physiology, neurology and rehabilitation to help the cycling community improve their cycling performance, but more importantly -- feel more comfortable riding their bikes.
