I have been a Registered Dietitian (RD) since 2002 and am also a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). I am also a busy mom to 3 teenagers and a dog. I have expertise in cardiovascular (heart) health, diabetes, pulmonary (lungs) and nephrology (kidneys). My approach uses intuitive eating and mindfulness principles with a weight-neutral and body positive approach!
Figuring out what to eat and what kind of diet "I should follow" can be quite overwhelming and can breed many negative thoughts around food and nutrition. My mission is to help you learn and develop accurate, research-based nutrition knowledge and education so you can make healthy choices for your body! Remember, we are all different and have different needs and wants. This really matters!
