Jakub is a physiotherapist with a strong passion for movement, performance, and getting people back to doing what they love. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him lifting weights year-round, skiing through the winter, and hiking as soon as the trails clear—so he truly understands the physical demands of an active lifestyle. Clinically, Jakub has a special interest in treating low back pain and shoulder injuries. He is actively expanding his skillset in concussion assessment and rehabilitation, vestibular conditions (including dizziness and balance issues), and medical acupuncture. He takes a hands-on, evidence-based approach to treatment, combining targeted manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, and patient education to achieve long-term results—not just short-term relief. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with persistent symptoms, or looking to move and perform better, Jakub focuses on practical, personalized care to help you feel confident in your body again. ###Education Jakub completed his B.Sc. in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2014 and went on to pursue his Masters of Physiotherapy at UCD in Dublin, Ireland. ###Professional Qualifications - Graduate from University College Dublin (Masters of Physiotherapy) - Graduate from Simon Fraser University (Bachelors of Kinesiology) - Registered Interim Physiotherapist (CPTBC) - Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C - Kinesio Taping KT1 & KT2 - NeuroKinetic Therapy Level 1 - Functional Range Conditioning - Acupuncture Canada Dry Needling Level 1 & 2 - ICE Total Spine Thrust Manipulation
