Manual Lymphatic Drainage is also helpful for pre and post-surgical interventions, assistance for wound care and pre-natal therapy. It is an excellent intervention for headaches, migraines, insomnia, neuralgias, auto immune diseases and old persistent injuries. Manual Lymphatic Drainage utilizes gentle techniques to drain toxins, inflammation and congestion from the body using specific patterns along lymphatic pathways. This person has graduated from a certified massage therapy college program and is awaiting the provincial licensing exams. This person is NOT yet a Registered Massage Therapist. Extended health plans will NOT cover these treatments. This type of treatment is best suited for those who do not have extended health benefits and/or have already used up their allotment for the year for massage therapy, as these treatments will be at a lower cost.
