Jaymie holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan (1999) and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University (2005). She is currently working toward her certification in manual therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has extensive post-graduate education in John Barnes Myofascial Release. Jaymie’s clinical interests are lumbo-pelvic dysfunction, lower limb and foot pain, sports injury rehabilitation and complex multi-system issues. She incorporates manual therapy, therapeutic and functional exercises, myofascial release and education into her therapy sessions. Jaymie is passionate about empowering her clients to understand and connect with their own bodies and be able to independently navigate their journey towards optimal health and performance. Jaymie is a certified Pilates instructor (both mat and apparatus) and taught at the Pilates Center of Montreal prior to studying physiotherapy. Jaymie was an elite-level cyclist racing both road and cyclocross and has a background in dance and gymnastics. She enjoys trail running, swimming and mountain biking and is a proud Mom of two beautiful girls.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD) can cause pain in the jaw joint and in the muscles that control the jaw joint and can result from trauma (eg car accident or impact) or from overuse (eg clenching or grinding of the teeth). This session will focus on assessment of your concerns, treatment of your discomfort, and education for self-care strategies.

A detailed and comprehensive assessment that investigates the various functions of the brain that are commonly disrupted after a concussion. Please note that we do not currently accept WCB claims. Sean's primary goal during your pregnancy is to keep you as active and able to participate in your daily activities as possible. She can also help you prepare your body for birth and return to activity with post natal care and is especially interested in helping clients with post cesarean section care. She can do this by using a manual approach to scar tissue massage and providing education regarding return to activity. Scar tissue massage is important post surgical to help reduce adhesions and potential musculoskeletal complications in the long term. Sean knows first hand the impact a scar could have on your body and would love to educate more women on post -cesarean care. Sean is also a third year osteopathic student.
