Jean-Philippe Baignée completed his master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal in 2023. During his studies, he was involved in various sports teams where he developed his expertise, which he plans to continue refining in the coming years. He will also be the official physiotherapist for the St-Jérôme Panthers for the 2024-25 season (Junior AAA Hockey). Jean-Philippe is himself a passionate athlete, primarily in tennis, but also in several other sports.
“During the initial consultation, the physiotherapist will gather all the necessary informations regarding your general health and your injury. The physiotherapist will perform a detailed physical assessement of your condition and will explain to you all the findings of the evaluation.
The physiotherapist will explain to you the treatment plan, the recommended frequency of follow-up appointments and will answer all your questions.
The physiotherapist will then begin the treatment plan and will prescribe you a therapeutic home exercise program.
Physiotherapy treatments are personnalized according to your needs and include manual therapy techniques, muscle release techniques, specific exercise prescription and if needed, the application of ice, heat, electrotherapy and taping.”
