Clinical Expertise:
Jema-Sue teaches orthopedic assessment at West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She's deeply proficient in assessing and treating soft tissue and joint concerns with precision and skill. Whether you're navigating pregnancy-related pain, recovering from delivery, or managing chronic musculoskeletal issues, she brings thorough assessment and effective treatment to every session.
Her practice integrates Swedish massage, orthopedic techniques, and various modalities tailored to your body's needs. She also works with ICBC patients, bringing the same detailed, technically sound approach to injury recovery and rehabilitation.
Gender-Affirming Prenatal and Postpartum Care:
As a queer woman and advocate for gender-affirming care, Jema-Sue brings particular expertise to working with folks who menstruate—especially around childbirth and the postpartum period. Her practice welcomes trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse folks navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and menstrual health. Whether you're a trans man navigating pregnancy, a non-binary person dealing with menstrual concerns, or anyone seeking care that honors your identity, Jema-Sue creates a space where you're seen, safe and respected.
Approach to Care:
Jema-Sue believes in patient-centered care that honors your goals and circumstances. Effective treatment requires both technical skill and creating a safe space where you feel supported, respected, and in control of your care.
