About Jenna
I am a Somatic Counsellor, artist, mother, and lifelong student of the body. For fifteen years, my work has been guided by a simple truth: we cannot separate our attitudes from how the body is organized.
Many of the people who find their way to me are exhausted—depleted by the pressure to perform, by the inner voice that says they're not enough, and by a culture that demands they look, feel and act a certain way.
Some are healthcare professionals, leaders, and high achievers who have succeeded by every external measure, yet find they are running on empty. Others are living with unresolved trauma, chronic pain or injuries that traditional approaches have not fully addressed.
As an Integrative Somatic Counsellor, I offer a space where what you are carrying can be met with compassion, curiosity and care. My approach is resource- and body-oriented, drawing from somatic trauma therapy, expressive arts, and conscious movement. Together, we listen to the wisdom of the body, creating space for insight, integration and meaningful change to emerge in its own time.
Healing is relational, shaped by our connection to ourselves, to one another and to the environments that sustain us. Alongside individual sessions, I offer group experiences where community, shared growth and mutual support become part of the healing process.
My hope is to support you in cultivating a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself—one that allows you to navigate life's complexity with greater ease and move through the world in a way that feels aligned with your true heart’s intentions.
I am currently deepening my studies in somatic expressive arts, therapeutic qigong and the integration of Buddhist practice and somatic work. I am also currently advancing my education in the Hakomi method with the Hakomi Education Network.
I live, work, and raise my family on the unceded territories of the Semiahmoo First Nation and am committed to ongoing learning with the Peoples and lands on which I practice.
