Jennifer is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. Her clinical work spans child and youth mental health and addictions, adult mental health and addictions, trauma-informed therapy, couples and family therapy, perinatal mental health, perinatal couples therapy, and counselling and parent support for Autism and ADHD. Jennifer has advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), perinatal mental health, Gottman Couples Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Bringing Baby Home program, and Sanyas cultural training. With both personal and professional experience of neurodiversity, Jennifer is deeply committed to a neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach to care. Originally from rural Northwestern Ontario, Jennifer relocated to British Columbia, where she earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2009. She is registered in good standing with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. Outside of her clinical work, Jennifer’s most important role is being a mom to three young children.
