Service: Jessica is an Intern Clinical Counsellor providing low cost affordable therapy virtually and in Coquitlam while she completes her Master of School Counselling Program.
Approach: Jessica offers Humanistic, Relational & Attachment-based Therapy. Her approach is relational, trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming, and safety-first. She draws from evidence based and attachment focused modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and Person-Centered Therapy to support clients in feeling safer, more connected, and more aligned with their most authentic self. She offers a high degree of information, or psychoeducation, to help clients better understand skills, theory, and research. Jessica practices under the Kayda Health Intern Clinical Counselling Program receiving ongoing clinical supervision from Thea Megas, MC, RCC-ACS.
Credentials & Modalities: Jessica's day job is a teacher in an alternate high school program where she feels a great honour in supporting vulnerable and at-risk youth. She has completed two Bachelor Degrees prior to entering her Master's program. She is on track to complete her Master of School Counselling program by the end of 2026.
