Including DMI and CME, this 45-minute physiotherapy session (+15 minutes for charting) includes a Therapy Assistant alongside the therapist. The TA support allows for more complex exercises to be performed during the session, as well as for greater efficiencies, being that the TA assists with gathering supplies and prepping various therapy stations. The TA can also play the role of entertainer/distractor for younger kids that can easily get dysregulated. Various modalities and techniques may be used within the session, including Trexo Robot, Vibration therapy on the Hypervibe, Muscle Stim, LiteGait, Spider Cage, DMI/CME and more.
This 25-minute physiotherapy session is only for clients ages 1-6 months or torticollis being their main concern.
Including DMI and CME, this 45-minute physiotherapy session (+ 15 minutes for charting) can incorporate Trexo Robot, Vibration therapy on the Hypervibe, Muscle Stim, LiteGait, Spider Cage and more. Being that this session is not supported by a Therapy Assistant, DMI/CME exercises will be limited to only those that can be performed without the assistance of a TA.
A pediatric physiotherapy assessment is a child-focused evaluation that looks at a child’s physical development, movement skills, and functional abilities. The goal is to understand how a child moves, plays, and participates in daily activities, and to identify any delays, challenges, or physical concerns so an appropriate treatment plan can be created.
This is a 45-minute physiotherapy session with 15-min added for documentation. The therapist will be coaching the caregiver on providing various therapeutic interventions to the child. Some supportive equipment may be required, based on what may be available in the child's home. Please ensure that your child is present in comfortable clothing and is wearing supportive footwear. If the child has AFOs, please have them handy for the session. The caregiver attending the session with the child should also be dressed comfortably. It is beneficial to have a cleared out area on the floor available for the facilitation of exercises. A mat or carpet will also be handy for ensuring comfort for the caregiver and child when on floor.
